Malaysia has a lot to offer, very friendly people, fabulous food and great beer as well as great tourist spots, the exchange rate is good meaning that it is a great value for money place for a holiday. Join me for this five day trip to ART OF SPEED Malaysia, I am sure you have a great time!

AOS Malaysia

AOS Malaysia

Art Of Speed Malaysia is not a show like you would be used to in Australia, the Custom scene in Malaysia is emerging, this is what makes it special it does not have huge numbers of Hot Rods or Custom cars,  Custom Motorcycles are however well represented, that is because the roads are suited more to Bikes than Custom Cars although builders like Hatish Mayer are servicing a growing market for custom cars.

Hatish’s  Custom Impala

Motorcycles are by far the most popular form of transport in Malaysia so it is no supprise AOS has some fabulous Custom Bikes on display, Malaysian bike builders are as good as any you have seen anyone, AOS also has a great group of artists, crafts people, parts fabricators and Tattooists displaying their work, well worth keeping some cash aside to purchase something for the man cave.

BOO from Japan, laying down some lines

The best reason to take a look at ART OF SPEED Malaysia is that it is fresh, not hampered by peoples expectations of what a Custom or a Rod should be, Cars and Bikes are built because thats they way the owner likes it, using whatever he has access to, billet is virtually non existent as are cheque book cars,  these guys are enjoying themselves, experimenting with what a custom means to them.

ART OF SPEED Not only has Customs, it also has collectable cars, JDM, Kaido racers, Kai cars and some High performance cars there is quite a variety, showing the strength of the Auto culture in Malaysia.
